Conductive Care provides one to one Conductive Education and Rehabilitation Therapy Sessions to children and young adults with neurological and mobility impairments, within their own home. Conductive Care was setup by Ceri Metcalf, a fully qualified Conductor graduating from the National Institute of Conductive Education with a First class BA (Hons) in Conductive Education.
Conductive Care strives to help change the lives of children and young adults with disabilities across Hamphire by supporting and create their independence. Throughout all sessions aims are set to support goals from nursery, school, college and university settings as well as focusing on aspects that they or their parents would like to improve on. A key part of the service is helping to show how the principles they learnt during a session can continued to be implemented within their own or their child’s every day life and share the message that we believe in ability not disability.
Conductive Education is a rehabilitation technique that helps children and young adults with neurological and mobility impairments, such as Cerebral Palsy and Head Injury. Conductive Education develops abilities and skills through active participation, enabling and encouraging them to be as independent and self sufficient as possible.
